Whether they’re dressing up as other famous personalities or opting for the classic witch look, these stars really know how to boo-st their costume game.

From Hollywood icons to top models and even our beloved daytime TV presenters, if you’re anyone who’s anyone, you’re donning a disguise.

Here, we take a peek at some of the celebs who have unleashed their alter egos and see if they’re truly inner ghouls or heavenly angels.

Whether she’s strutting her stuff to host her Heart Breakfast radio show, or taking a quick snap for her 2.4 million Instagram followers, Amanda Holden never misses an opportunity to dress up.

And that means you’ll never catch her slipping when it comes to Halloween.

Last year, the 53-year-old dressed up as Thelma from Scooby Doo whilst presenting her show alongside co-hosts Ashley Roberts, who was dressed up as Daphne, and Jamie Theakston, who was Shaggy.

Never ones to miss out on a trick or treat are the Kardashian sisters, always ready to set the pace so the rest have to Keep Up.

From Kim, 44, strutting her stuff as a CowBot in 2021 to transforming into a BRATZ doll last year alongside her sister Khloe, and even dressing up as the Clueless girls with her daughter North West, it’s clear Kim loves to flaunt her alter ego during spooky season.

And let’s not forget Kylie and Kendall Jenner, who make sure they’re not left out of the frightful fun.

Last year, they joined forces to become ‘Sugar and Spice’ from Batman Forever, donning sultry lingerie to bring the characters to life.

But 2022 was a banner year for the Kardashian clan, as they seemed to be competing to outdo each other.

Khloe, 40, and her daughter True matched in purr-fect cat outfits inspired by their real pet cat, while Kourtney embraced her spooky side by going all out in black.

However, it was Kim who really got tongues wagging, squeezing herself into a slick latex costume to embody Mystique from X-Men.

This year Kris got involved and took her Disney Princess role seriously.

She dressed up as Snow White, and even fooled Khloe, who shared a picture of her mum and wrote: “My mom showed us as Snow White!

I thought one of my sisters hired a Disney Princess, but no..it was Kris Jenner.”

It seems the Kardashians are always ready to cast a spell with their Halloween looks.

In 2021, Maura Higgins served some serious Baywatch vibes as she channelled her inner Pamela Anderson in a black leather corset and thigh-high boots talk about a shore thing.

That same year, the fabulous Liberty Poole put a sassy spin on Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, rocking a latex hot pink dress and matching stilettos.

And let’s not forget besties Milly Court, Chloe Burrows, and Lucinda Strafford, who took a heavenly turn as a trio of angels two years ago.

They were truly angel-ically adorable.

Hopping into her own solo picture, Lucinda proved she was tough skinned and didnt feel the cold as she wore lingerie to model a pink body.

Top model Hailey Bieber was so stunning last year that she practically gave herself a fright while recreating a scene from Scary Movie in tiny lingerie.

But she didn’t stop there.

Teaming up with her hubby Justin and their furry friends, they transformed into the Bieber-stones, proving that this couple knows how to rock the prehistoric chic.

Sports commentator Alex Scott gave everyone a spook last year, and looked completely unrecognisable as she dressed up as PennyWise from the film IT.

Top tips on getting dressed up for Halloween

Halloween is the perfect opportunity to get dressed up, take on a different persona and have fun with your look.

These days, celebrities provide the perfect inspiration for costumes, however, they also have a team of stylists, makeup artists and endless bounds of cash at their disposal.

So how do you make an outfit like theirs work for you?

A lot of stars make their outfits look sexy and your lingerie drawer is the perfect starting point.

You can use anything from a bra, fishnet tights, stockings and suspenders to add to your look, then depending on the look youre going for add makeup according.

I.e wearing a black bodice and tights, add some red lipstick and dark eyes for a vampy look.

The rest of your wardrobe can be more inspiring than you think too for example a plain black can be a perfect base for your costume.

If you are however happy to spend a bit of money on your Halloween costume but are running out of time then Amazon is your go too, there are so many costumes to choose from with many sitting under its Prime next day delivery option.

Or if youre wanting to see what the in store shops have to offer, look to the supermarkets and budget stores such as B&M, Poundland and Primark which are still full of accessories and clothing to fulfil your Halloween wishes.
