A man has been arrested after a suspicious item was found in a block of flats near a train station in Scotland.
Properties surrounding Overtoun Court in Dalmuir, Clydebank, not far from Dalmuir railway station, were evacuated on Monday afternoon after the item was found.
The discovery came as forensic officers had been investigating the unexplained death of a 58-year-old man on October 17 and knocking on doors in the block, according to BBC News.
An explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) team was called over the suspect item and nearby flats were evacuated as a precaution.
Residents were allowed back into their homes at around 2.30am on Tuesday morning.
Police Scotland have now confirmed a 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Chief Superintendent Gary I’Anson, Divisional Commander for Argyll and West Dunbartonshire, said: I would like to thank the local community for their patience and understanding as we continue to deal with this incident.
I understand the inconvenience it will have caused and I am grateful for your cooperation.
