A former Hollywood actor who was wanted by police for allegedly breaching his licence conditions has been arrested.
Jason Hoganson, 53, had been the focus of a manhunt by Northumbria Police for recall to prison.
It is understood that Hoganson has been arrested since the police appeal was made public yesterday evening.
Hoganson played a leading role in the 1987 Hollywood film Empire State.

The force has said the figure equates into nine top targets being arrested each day.
